You can thrive working from your kitchen table
9 wellbeing webinars to support your team members to thrive working from home
At Mind It Ltd, our focus is to support you and your team members to thrive at work. And better put in the current circumstances given that being ‘at work’ seems like a faraway memory replaced by the kitchen table, to ‘thrive working’.
All our usual on-site training sessions are now available virtually and remotely through webinars. Well, almost all: massage and reflexology and health checks are not feasible from a distance, yet (who knows!). Our webinars are all engaging and interactive, even when virtual. We use the chat function to engage with the attendees all along and always leave time in the end for questions and answers. Some of our training sessions used to be half-day or full-day ones, yet we turned them into a series of 60-minute webinars, to avoid the strain of staying in front of a screen for an uninterrupted amount of time, and to adapt to the reality of working from home (homeschooling and working from the kitchen table is a real challenge, we feel you!).
Here is a selection of some wellbeing webinars you might want to explore with and for your team members, because yes, we can thrive working from home! Sometimes we all just need a bit of help.
To learn about Stress, Resilience, and Mental Health:
Managing our Stress: That is probably the webinar we would recommend starting with. This webinar helps attendees to have a better understanding of stress and its effects on our overall wellbeing, on our mind and our body. In this webinar, we define stress, explore the sources of stress, and investigate coping mechanisms to stress. By using a series of practical exercises and activities, we help the attendees to identify their legitimate sources of stress and to develop their own set of healthy coping mechanisms to stress.
Building Resilience: This webinar focuses on resilience and our ability to feel strong even when things change and feel safe whilst stepping outside our comfort zones. Via a series of activities, this webinar guides delegates towards creating a personal resilience programme resulting in a stronger, more confident, and more resilient 'you'.
Becoming more aware of Mental Health: Because mental health issues are real and working from home can be a trigger to some of us, it is more important than ever to talk about mental health. This webinar provides team members with greater knowledge and understanding of the common classifications of Mental Health, how to spot the signs, how to provide support and strategies to make improvements.
To build your own wellbeing toolkit:
Practicing Gratitude: What are you grateful for today? Actively reflecting on daily things and people who help you feel wonder, joy, love, hope, and gratitude is known to boost your long-term mood. By exploring gratitude practices in this webinar, you understand how it can improve your wellbeing. This webinar is ideal for improving wellbeing by boosting our individual’s daily mood, key while working from home too!
Improving our Sleep: Do you sleep enough? Do you sleep well enough? Sleep is essential for good health and disease prevention. The problem is that these days sleep deprivation is worn as a badge of honor. Sleep deprivation can contribute to immune system failure and is a catalyst for diseases. This webinar provides education about sleep - the importance of sleep, the risks of sleep deprivation, and tips to improve sleep and achieve regular good night sleep.
Discovering the basics of Nutrition: How do we remain full of energy all throughout the day, even working from home? Our energy is our most invaluable resource, yet so many of us are lacking energy each day. This webinar includes factors that contribute to energy drain and vitality, the relationship between sugar and mood swings, caffeine addiction, and tips to renew and recharge.
To go one step further:

Experiencing Laughter Yoga: Laughing on your own in your living room? We say yes! By doing Laughter Yoga, you would relieve stress, lessen anxiety, enhance your immune system, improve respiration and cardiovascular systems, normalise blood pressure, and boost self-confidence, only that! Live sessions usually start with an introduction, followed by a warm-up and a series of exercises gathering movements, breathing techniques, and laugh! Laughter yoga classes create a safe environment where you can laugh loudly and fully without feeling self-conscious. Laughter Yoga is also a great way to do some remote team building!
Finding Life Balance: Self-care is not selfish; it’s essential! When you fill-up your cup first, you can show up fully in your professional and personal life. Every single day is an opportunity to work towards achieving our goals, and the routines we set for ourselves can dramatically improve our lives and sense of fulfillment. In this webinar, we discuss the importance of daily and weekly routines for wellbeing at work and at home.
